RC - Marketplace Overview

GARAGE

Buying and Selling

• Listings: Players can list their cars or items for sale, setting their own prices in $RC tokens. Listings include detailed descriptions, specifications, and images.
  
• Purchasing: Buyers can browse the marketplace, view item details, and purchase directly using their $RC token balance. Transactions are secured and facilitated through smart contracts, ensuring transparency and trust.
  
• Fees: A small transaction fee, of 2.5% from each side will be charged on sales, contributing to the game's development and ecosystem maintenance.
  

Rentals

• Car Rentals: Players can rent cars from others for a specified duration and cost, enabling access to higher-tier vehicles without permanent ownership.
  
• Terms and Conditions: Rental agreements are defined by the lender, including duration, price, and any usage restrictions.
  
• Smart Contracts: Rentals are managed through smart contracts, automatically enforcing the terms and ensuring the car returns to the owner after the rental period ends without any damage or late return penalties.
  

Security and Trust

• Smart Contracts: Utilize blockchain technology for all transactions, ensuring security, transparency, and non-repudiation.
  
• Verification & Ranking: Items and users undergo verification processes and ranking system resulting in a high trust level within the marketplace.
  
• Dispute Resolution: A system to handle disputes with a dedicated support, ensures fairness and satisfaction.
  

Auctions

• Functionality: Players can list items for auction, setting a minimum bid and auction duration. Other players can bid on these items, with the highest bidder at auction end winning the item.
  
• Auction End: Winners are automatically determined, and the transaction is processed through smart contracts, transferring the item and $RC tokens between parties.
  

Upgrades and Customizations

• Sale of Upgrades: Players can sell or trade car upgrades, such as engine modifications, aerodynamics packages, and custom paint jobs.
  

Community and Social Features

• Ratings and Reviews: Buyers and sellers can rate each other and write reviews, building reputations within the community.
  
• Wishlists and Notifications: Players can add items to wishlists and receive notifications about specific listings, including auctions for desired items or price drops, or a new vehicle is available etc.
  
• API Access: For third-party developers tools will be provided to boost user productivity & creative for the RC marketplace, enhancing the ecosystem.
  

Other Assets / Future

• Expansion: Potential future expansions could include the trading of virtual car related locations (such as garages or showrooms) and the introduction of rare & unique collectibles or memorabilia.
